The sponge is back! The sponge, once the most popular over-the-counter female contraceptive and made famous by Elaine on Sinefeld, has won re-approval for marketing in the U.S. and Canada. Soon it will be available in the UK and the EU. Finally, women will once again be able to make the sponge their contraceptive choice. I used the sponge many years ago and hated it.
It was very convenient; but, after leaving it in the recommended period of time, the odor of the semen in it smelled like dead fish! I hope the have made a remedy for that!
